ramblings of a teenage boy

My school held the annual Cross-country at Mac Ritchie. Lessons ended at 11 for us to have time to have lunch and get there. My classmates and I went to play LAN together at GL Square. The whole place was filled with only Marists. Yong Jia, Jervin and their friends who seldom LAN were also present. For my class, we played 5v5, with Eng Teck, Chimp, Matthew, Wymer, me against Preston, Kenneth, Qin Xian, Moses and Eugene. We played 2 matches and each team won one. It was fun and exciting - winning didnt matter.
In the evening, had a call from my primary school friend asking me to go back to my old sch tomorrow for some event. I told her to get some other boys along as well but maybe I wont go. Tomorrow morning will be going to study with Chimp, but what happens if two average students study together?
~Either many things will be learnt or none at all.

First day of sch, I had mixed feelings. It is time to get the engines moving and resume studying. On the other hand, it feels great to be back in the company of friends. Everyone of them is very special in their own ways. Words cant describe how special they are, you just have to know them personally. As for holidays homeworks, I'm about to finish up which I think many of you are doing so too.
Today is Moses' birthday! Wishing you a happy birthday here and may all your wishes come true. My birthday is way over but Mr Tan still gave me a present today and said Happy Belated. Then had lunch and was late for Mdm Lim's Chem Practical. She is going to report Chimp and me to our form teacher...
Learning and trying to change to become a better person, under the help and guidance from God, it can be done. AMEN.

Have not updated for one week, and last week was very special. Kenneth, i still remembered what you told me. You said you had wasted your time celebrating birthday with me, instead of staying at home and playing or studying. However, I know deep down inside your heart was telling you to come with us and you listened. You will not live to regret it because I'm sure you had some fun and because it has already passed. What done cannot be undone. Also Wymer, you told me that I have to try very hard and make people laugh while Chimp can just do that unknowingly. I don't mind, because I have no intention of being a joker or clown which you may think I am. Hey, life's much more than just that.
Yesterday, I watched a television programme and found something interesting. There is a saying like this " Words spoken should not be hurtful, use it to say i love you." How true is that. Maybe I should start learning to do that too.


TODAY is the birth date of someone great! Although it is considered unlucky as Friday the 13th, but because of my birthday which falls on 13th also, therefore it has become a lucky day for everyone. 13 is my favourite number as well as my class index number. If I'm not wrong, Bliven, you also like the number 13 right. Tell me if I'm wrong. Class was dismissed at 12plus due to Mr Tan making us stay back for some enlightenment by him. I went to pass an apology letter to Mrs Champion and then returned to class. Completely forgotten that I was going to get taupok for my birthday, I was caught off guard by Wymer dragged me down and the rest began layering. The weight of so many of them made me almost couldn't breathe. Jia Ding said that my face went very red. After that, we went Kallang Leisure Park for bowling. We were all quite good in the first game and I scored 100 plus. The second game only Shervin and Jia Ding had over 100 points. Then, they taupok me again in the toilet before we went to watch DragonBall Evolution. I didn't really watch the DragonBall cartoon but Wymer told me that the story was screwed as some characters were good guys but became the bad guys in the movie, example Picollo. I told him that it's called DB Evolution, not DB. Overall, the movie was mediocre but too short. After the movie, everyone went home. I shared cab with JD, Eugene and Qi Zong to Bedok, dropped Eugene off at Katong area. I had dinner with my family at East Coast Park to celebrate my birthday. We went back to my grandparents house, and cut the cake there.
Thanks everyone for putting in the effort to let me have a memorable birthday. Even Qin Xian and Matthew who couldn't come, it's your thought that counts. Thanks for the present though, QX, Chimp, Nicholas and Preston!=)

Hmm...Something interesting today. Assembly today is about smoking and advising us how to say 'NO'. Hey, smoking kills so don't ever start it!
In the afternoon, Mdm Lim escorted Preston and I to 4E for Physics GEP because she was afraid that we would skip it. Lol. She should have put more faith in us. Never mind. During the lesson, I answered most of the questions Ms Tan asked from me. Probably I was talking a little too much and she got irritated. Guess what she said? She asked: Kelvin, do you have any friends?
I was stunned and my friends were like laughing. I answered: Ya, have what.
She replied: After this, you all may go. Kelvin stay back and see me.
Fortunately, when lesson ended, she forgotten about it and went off. We remembered but we did not remind her. I got home and thought about what she said. I think that she's saying that because I am always joking in class and nobody treats me seriously?
Anyway, Chimp and Kenneth are my close friends as we always like to suan each other whenever possible. Preston, you are still my best grandpa and the rest are still my good friends.

Shall post about my brother today. In the afternoon, he had a call from his best friend asking him to go to a birthday party. It was my brother ex's party. He decided to go and I think that he was going there to make her jealous and guilty. I met my bro ex before. She is average looking, short but quite rich. The reason my bro dumped her is because she has a weird temper or attitude prob. When two people are in a relationship, both parties must love, care, respect and understand each other. Probably all along she was pampered so she could not do all these. If I were in my bro's shoes, I would have done the same too. No doubt.

It's Friday and the last day of the week..counting down SEVEN days to my birthday. In the morning, Matthew and Aaron had come to sch late, around recess time. I gave Matthew his belated birthday present which was again shared with Moses. I wished him a happy belated birthday and he thanked me. Around that time, I sat down and played Chinese Chess with a classmate, Chor Yuk. I hate to say it but I won him quite effortlessly and insulted him a little too overboard. Then, he did the unexpected. He actually cried which made me felt guilty. I did what was right and what I was supposed to do, I offered him a packet of tissue paper from myself. Until now, I am still not sure whether he had forgiven me. God bless him for he was a victim and I was the culprit.
After sch, had NCC training. Today is a special day because it's Promotion Day. Of course, many people were promoted except for me and a few. Some unlucky ones were demoted. I shall not name who. Dam. Wilfred said he had recommended me to Sir Teng for promotion but because of my poor attendance, I was not promoted. My rank now is still 3rd SGT and my post is still Medic lol. 3rd is a good because like what Mr Kwok had said: God is First, others Second, I am Third.

One of our role models of our class, Shervin, had accidentally injured himself during yesterday's basketball match with some sch. They lost the match as a result. Maris Stella 61 - 63 Other sch.
Today, Mr Kwok had announced his name and his brother's Jervin, saying that Jervin carried and lead the team to a hard fought battle but still lost. Adding on, win with honour, lose with humilty. My sch basketball team had done their best, even though one of their best players was down and taken off the court.
In conclusion, Maris Stella has one of the best basketball team in Singapore. Which other sch dare to challenge Maris Stella basketball team, by all means come.

Really dont feel like blogging anymore. Reason is I am going to concentrate on my studies 24/7 till the day GCE O Levels come. My results now are rock-bottom and it's terrible. I wish to make a comeback within the next few months. I'm going to study like I never studied before, learning and gaining the never-ending wisdom or knowledge. I am keeping my doors open - JC or Poly. The doors will be opened up till the end when i receive my O levels results next year.

Today's assembly is a talk on sex and abortion. To some people, it's a very emotional and sensitive topic. Love is free, total, faithful and fruitful. Prematial sex is of lust and not of love, Every baby a wanted baby so on.. Watched 2 videos on abortion and it's really gross, especially with the bloody mess with body parts of the infants here and there. There's a saying, "No sex before marriage" which is quite old-fashioned but it's quite true. Who can bear the consequences of having prematial sex?
After that, had Chemistry practical. It was fun experimenting with the chemicals, at the same time learning. I just love Chemistry! Then returned to class for the Year-head class visit. Some childish loser, You Liang, wrote insults on our whiteboard while informing us to go for Physics GEP. Then, Mrs Tan-Chin came and asked everyone of us what we liked about Maris Stella. The replies were the school teachers, friends and facilities. I said my friends and teacher, Mdm Lim, because although she is a part-time teacher, she is very dedicated in her work. Later on, she worked on solutions on why our class was not performing well in academic. She added we were a warm, nice and interesting class(she pinpointed Eugene and Matthew lol) but we need to improve on some areas.

First of all, Arsenal did not win again and this is not a good sign with a goalless draw. Many of my friends who are Arsenal fans, will be definitely disappointed with the result.
After my double maths tuition in the afternoon, I went to have my haircut at Serangoon. My friend, Wymer, had introduced to me the hairdresser Henry because he cuts hair pretty well. He remembered me because I had went there to cut before chinese new year.
Watching West Ham vs Man City now. It's an interesting match and West Ham's Collision just scored in the 70th min.
